Legal Experts to Al Sharq: Youth Habits Risk Falling into the Cybercrime Trap
Lawyer Fouziya Saleh Al-Obaidly contributed to a report by Al Sharq newspaper on the digital habits that put young people at risk of falling into cybercrime.
Al-Obaidly said the spread of the internet has multiplied social media accounts and chat channels, turning some into digital-screen addicts, while others harness the information revolution to learn new skills and languages and seek out useful programs, especially educational applications.
She warned that long hours on mobile devices cause physical harm as well as social isolation, calling for technology to be employed in ways that benefit professional and academic life.
