Legal Experts to Al Sharq: The E-Court Portal Has Cut Down Paper Procedures

Lawyer Fouziya Saleh Al-Obaidly contributed to a report by Al Sharq newspaper on the e-court portal and its role in reducing paper procedures.

Al-Obaidly said the electronic services have made matters much easier for lawyers and clients, with new applications, lawsuits, and appeals now filed through the courts' website, along with the activation of remote power-of-attorney services.

She explained that all these services serve the public interest and save time and effort, noting that the exceptional circumstances of the time accelerated their adoption — a silver lining.
